EUROPE AT A CROSSROAD<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0is the manifesto\u00a0of the\u00a0European Women’s Lobby<\/strong>\u00a0for the upcoming\u00a0elections to the European Parliament<\/strong>, which will take place in June 2024.<\/p>\n

The manifesto emphasises the\u00a0equal participation of women at all levels<\/strong>\u00a0as a prerequisite for\u00a0peace, prosperity and social change<\/strong>. It’s\u00a0available in twenty\u00a0European languages and is part of the European Women’s Lobby’s campaign to promote gender equality and women’s rights. The document addresses the equal representation of women in decision-making positions in politics and business, the promotion of women’s economic independence, the elimination of all forms of violence against women, the fight against the physical exploitation of women and the right to bodily self-determination. It also emphasises women’s involvement in international politics and green transformation.<\/p>\n
