A Valentine’s Day full of dance to end violence against women and a screening of Miss Representation

Today, on February 13th 2015, on the eve of Valentine’s Day, in Brno and all over the world people have danced to end violence committed against women. This symbolic event was held under the umbrella of global movements One Billion Rising and V-Day, founded by Eve Ensler, author of the famous Vagina monologues. In Brno, the event took place at 4 pm on Moravské náměstí in front of the Morgal café. The dance was choreographed to the song ‘Break the Chain’. The event was organized by the non-governmental organisation NESEHNUTÍ, the gender information centre Nora, Amnesty International Brno and the Czech Women’s Lobby.
