Options for Victims of Domestic Violence During Quarantine

Not everyone is safe when isolated at home during the lockdown. We have compiled a list of organizations that are helping victims of domestic violence.

 

ROSA - Centre for Women:

SOS line 602 246 102 and a new counselling line 739 709 764 are available on weekdays from 9:00 - 18:00

A new option - counselling through online chat, on Tuesdays (13:00 - 15:00) and Thursdays (9:00 - 11:00) on https://www.rosacentrum.cz/; 

E-mail consultation: poradna@rosa-os.cz 

Upon agreement, it is also possible to have a consultation via SKYPE. 

ROSA is a professional guarantor of the Czech adaptation of the Bright Sky CZ App (developed by Vodafone ČR Foundation), which helps users to detect domestic violence and find help throughout the Czech Republic. Download the App for Android here Android here, and for iOS here.

 

ACORUS:

Victims of domestic violence can call the non-stop line on 283 892 772, or use the newly launched online counselling service.

 

proFem - Center for Victims of Domestic and Sexual Violence

Newly, proFem also provides services through its own Facebook Messenger account (Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 3:00), a phone line on 608 222 277 (Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:00) and its online counselling service (Monday from 9:00 to 12:00 and Wednesday from 16:00 to 19:00).

For legal aid, call 608 222 277, a service which is available every Tuesday from 09:00 to 12:00 and Wednesday from 17:30 to 20:30. 

 

The organization Bílý kruh bezpečí provides victims of domestic violence with a non-stop hotline on 116 006.

 

If you suspect that someone is being harmed or their life is in danger, call the Police of the Czech Republic on 112.
