About us

We are a network of organizations that defend women’s rights in the Czech Republic. We represent 36 organizations that help women and work in the field of gender equality.

Since 2008 we have been playing an active role in human rights and gender equality. We point out overlooked problems of women and bring them to the political level. We influence laws to make women’s lives better. We bring a gender perspective into the public space and empower disadvantaged groups of women in the country.

We create a safe space within the network for organisations to work together.

We are also active at the European level through our European Women’s Lobby membership, which brings together women’s rights and feminist organisations across Europe.

The Czech Women’s Lobby promotes the interests of all women regardless of their race, ethnicity, health, sexual orientation, age, religion or belief and LGBTQI+.

Our mission is to be a strong feminist voice that defends women’s rights. Together, we advocate for systemic change leading to gender equality.
